Does NS0-502 certification require field experience?
Yes. Certification requirements include 6 to 12 months of experience in planning, implementing and validating end to end SAN solutions for customers in FC and iSCSI environments. Experience in SAN implementation within virtualized environments is also recommended.
What should I do if I have already passed the NS0-501 exam?
If you have already taken and passed the NS0-501 exam you do not need to take the NS0-502 exam. Currently- held NCIE-SAN certifications achieved by taking the NS0-501 exam are still considered valid for two years from the date that the certification was granted.
What happened to NS0-501?
The NS0-501exam will be available until June, 2010.
Why should I take the NS0-502 exam?
Certification in SAN Implementation, including SAN implementation within virtualized environments, requires the NS0-502 exam. If your NCIE-SAN certification has expired or will expire soon, you will have the option to take the NS0-502 exam beginning in April, 2010.
